To encourage students to share in New Zealand's heritage. To extend and develop student's ability to communicate in Māori. To enable students to understand and respect Ngā Tikanga Māori. To enable students to gain a deeper understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for Te Ao Māori.
Completion of MO2E or HOD approval
Students will learn to read, write and speak about themselves, their families, their interests and hobbies, and a range of everyday topics.
Assessment of the four key language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
